Thanks for visiting!
Studio 7 is a collective of visual and performing artists working together in the Downtown Arts District of Winston-Salem, NC. Located at 204 West 6th Street, Studio 7 houses 7 working artist studios and the McNeely Gallery. Studio 7 opened on the first Friday in April, 2013, and has worked diligently to provide unique and timeless art shows for its visitors. Our first location was 619 N Trade Street, but we have now found our forever home and love the new location.
Work by local North Carolina artists is displayed in the gallery, with the show changing for the DADA First Friday Gallery Hop each month. Studio 7 takes pride in the fact that new and aspiring artists are often featured in the McNeely Gallery. Our patrons are able to purchase fine art at a reasonable price before the fame of the artist raises the value of the artwork. July has been designated as a month for young artists that are just establishing themselves as artists. Occasionally, Studio 7 has the opportunity to display the works of a noted artist from another country or state. We love the opportunities we are able to provide to all artists and to our customers and collectors.
Studio 7 is open Thursday through Saturday from noon until 5 p.m., by chance (knock on the door if the lights are on), or by appointment. Marsha Hierl, the owner and artistic director, can be reached at 336-408-9739. Art purchased online can be shipped anywhere in the world. Visit our online gallery to see work by Studio 7 artists.
